Johanna Schiavoni Is Re-Appointed to San Diego’s Balboa Park Committee
October 17, 2017Johanna Schiavoni was re-appointed to a third two-year term on the City of San Diego’s Balboa Park Committee representing Council District 3 (North Park). The position requires nomination by San Diego’s Mayor and confirmation by the City Council. The Balboa Park Committee meets monthly, and advises the City’s Park and Recreation Board, Mayor, City Council, and City Manager on policy issues relating to the acquisition, development, maintenance and operation of Balboa Park. As a long-time North Park resident, Johanna is a frequent visitor to the park and patron of the numerous nonprofit and artistic institutions active there.
