Johanna Schiavoni has more than fifteen years of experience as a litigator and appellate attorney.  She is committed to providing her clients with unique insight and exceptional appellate advocacy.

Johanna is a Certified Appellate Specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization, which is a certification held by fewer than 300 attorneys in California.

Johanna’s prior experience includes clerking for judges on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, and litigating appeals and trials at large and small law firms in New York and San Diego.  Johanna’s clients have included Fortune 100 companies, closely held companies, small businesses and individuals.

Johanna’s legal counsel also is guided by her experience as a small business owner, co-founder of a non-profit corporation, and member of several boards of directors for large and small organizations.  She understands clients’ needs for strategic thinking and a holistic approach to legal and business matters, and will work seamlessly with client teams to achieve outstanding results.
